MW Bro. B. Donald Ford
The Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan, whose mission is “To be the Fraternal Organization of choice for men in the Province of Saskatchewan”, is pleased to announce that Bro. Don Ford was elected Grand Master of Saskatchewan Freemasons at their 112th Annual Communication in Saskatoon on June 16, 2018. As Grand Master he will preside over the 2500 Saskatchewan Freemasons in 51 constituent Lodges.
MW Bro. Ford was born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan He is a third generation Freemason: his grandfather was a member of Abernethy Lodge No. 77 and his father was a member of Mossbank Lodge No. 129. He is a member of North West Mounted Police Lodge No. 11 in Regina, an affiliate member of Indian Head Lodge No.5, and is a member of Scottish and York Rite bodies, and WAWA Shriners.
After spending 25 years in bank and credit union management, he is currently enjoying a second career in real estate sales as well as being a partner in a commercial real estate development company. He is engaged to Charlane and has one daughter Meagan.
Saskatchewan Freemasons strive to improve their individual characters and to support local community programs that reflect their philanthropy, in particular youth by providing leadership camps, scholarships, bursaries, and support to youth organizations that enable young people to develop the skills necessary to become our leaders for tomorrow.
