History
Solomon Lodge of Research #5986 was formed in 1988 as a Masonic research lodge under the Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan, with a total of 54 members. Solomon Lodge is not a degree granting Lodge.

Purpose
The purpose of the Lodge is to prepare scholarly papers on all aspects of Freemasonry. The Lodge is opened to all Master Masons.

Fees
The initiation fee is $45.00; the annual membership fee is $20.00 per year.

Dictionary
Solomon Lodge of Research has completely revised the original Masonic Dictionary that was first published in 1992 by M.W. Bro. Nick Korpan and R.W. Bro. Hugh Fraser. The Dictionary contains some 3,500 words together with correct spelling, pronunciation and definition. The new edition has been completely revised by R.W. Bro. Robert Tinline.
