Grand Lodge Library - REGINA BRANCH

Lending Procedures for the Library resources: book, video and  magazines. This is all done on the “HONOR SYSTEM” which only works if members comply. This system requires fewer rules, easier access and  less work for staff/volunteers . If material (books, videos etc ) become misplaced, disappear more stringent rules will be required.

1. Find the desired book, video, magazine etc. Ask for assistance from Librarian (Grand  Secretary or Volunteer) There is a Reference Manual listing all of the Lending Books by:
     Book Number, Book Title, Author, or Classification –select one of these and find a book you are looking for, an author or a classification topic you are interested in.     

2. Complete :  “LIBRARY SIGN-OUT SHEET” (Light colored file folder)
    -Record  Date Borrowed, Book Number, Name Printed, Lodge, Phone Number & your signature.
    PLEASE RECORD INFO, SO IT CAN BE READ, PRINT IF NECESSARY !

3. Complete: “ BOOK RETURN DATE REMINDER” (White Label on Yellow Glue Tag)
    -Record Date Borrowed, Book Number and Date for Return.
    -A Six week lending period has been set, if more time is required please call Grand Lodge Office for Extension,
    *REMEMBER OTHER MEMBERS MAY BE WAITING TO USE THE MATERIAL YOU BORROWED.
    -A Late Fee Penalty has been suggested of 25c/day ! These funds are to be paid to the Grand Secretary where they will be applied to the “YOUTH FUND” (Summer Camps etc.)

4. Read and Enjoy the Library Material for Six Weeks and return (on time) to the Library, in same condition as received.
    -Deposit Books, Videos etc in the “RETURN BOOK BOX” in the Library.  DO NOT REPLACE ON SHELF. All material must be recorded and placed in shelves by the Librarian.
    -Record date returned and initial the “LIBRARY SIGN-OUT  SHEET”

5. Please pay late fees to Grand Secretary or Staff.
