Saskatchewan Free Masons elect Dennis Skuce from Saskatoon as their Grand Master

The Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons is pleased to announce that Dennis J. Skuce of Saskatoon was elected Grand Master of Saskatchewan Freemasons at their Annual Communication in Regina, June 23-25, 2011. He will preside over 3000 Saskatchewan Freemasons in 60 constituent Lodges.

Grand Master Skuce joined the Masonic Fraternity in 1988 and since that time has been an active member of many Masonic bodies including his Craft Lodge, Scottish and York Rite bodies, Order of the Eastern Star and WA WA Shriners.   Dennis has for many years supported youth activities through the International Order of Job’s Daughters, the Order of DeMolay, and other community projects and activities.

Dennis pursued a 34 year career specializing in Diesel Mechanics and is well known in that regard throughout Saskatchewan. The Grand Master and his wife Vivian are members of the United Church.  They have four children and seven grandchildren.
