 The Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan as well as many Lodges sponsors a number of awards, scholarships, and bursaries. The information about awards sponsored in the 2010 year by the Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan is now published here along with the down loadable applications forms. The brochure which outlines the complete listing of all awards, scholarships, and bursaries is available from the Grand Lodge Office.
Masonic Youth Trust Fund Scholarships - $1,000  For 2010, six awards offered to Saskatchewan High School graduates who proceed to an institution of higher learning anywhere in Canada. Selection is based upon academic achievement, leadership skills, community and school activities, special awards and need. Must be registered for a full academic load for a full academic year as required by the institution chosen. The scholarsh ip will be awarded after proof of registration in the institution and receipt of winner's S.I.N. which is required for income tac purposes.
Grand Lodge of Saskatchewan Post Secondary Education Bursary - $500  Offered annually to an undergraduate student, after satisfactory completion of at least one complete year of University, who is a resident of Saskatchewan. Selection will be based on financial need, academic achievement, moral character, sportsmanship and leadership. One scholarship to be awarded for the University of Saskatchewan and one for the University of Regina. Must be registered for a full academic load for a full academic year as required by the institution chosen. Gilbert and Gay Cook Memorial Award - $1,000  Offered annually to applicants who currently are or were members of the International Order of Job's Daughters or the Order of DeMolay and who will be entering the University of Regina or the University of Saskatchewan. Selection will be based upon academic achievement and a range of non-academic activities. Must be registered for a full academic load for a full academic year as required by the institution chosen.
Edgar Alexander Garton Scholarship - $1,000  Offered annually to undergraduate students who have completed one or more years of University, SIAST, or other post-secondary education. Applicants must be children or grandchildren of a Master Mason in good standing, a resident of Saskatchewan and attending a university, SIAST, or other post-secondary institution in Saskatchewan. Selection will be based upon academic achievement, moral character, sportsmanship and leadership. Must be registered for a full academic load for a full academic year as required by the institution chosen.
Order of the Eastern Star - Robert Morrison Award - $1,000  One award offered annually to a Saskatchewan High School Graduate entering their first year of post-secondary study and one offered annually to a University or Technical School Undergraduate entering their 2nd or subsequent year of post-secondary study. Candidates must be closely related to a current member of a Saskatchewan Eastern Star Chapter and may receive the award only once during their post-secondary career. Must be registered for a full academic load for a full academic year.
Robinson Trust Fund Bursary - $500  Offered annually for one undergraduate from the University of Saskatchewan and one undergraduate from the University of Regina pursuing a course leading to an Honours or Master's degree in English, who demonstrates financial need, academic achievement, and leadership. Recipients of $1,000 or more in other scholarships are not eligible for this award. Must be registered for a full academic load for a full academic year as required by the institution chosen.
